We are currently seeking highly motivated, energetic and flexible workers, with experience in the Horticulture or Manufacturing industry to confidently perform the duties of Despatch Operator.
For this role, you can work weekends and night shifts and will be based locally in either
- Bowen in North Queensland or
- Mulgowie in South East Queensland
You will be responsible for the following:
- Report and communicate any non-conformances
- Maintain product temperature control
- Preparation of delivery paperwork
- Loading/Unloading Trucks
- Operating Scanners, computer applications and other relevant technology
The successful applicants will possess the following:
- Ability to work shifts from 2am
- Experience in fresh produce (preferred)
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and quality
- Good computer skills (SAP experience highly regarded)
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Reliable and trustworthy personality
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Be a proactive team member
The essential skills for this role are:
- Valid and current Forklift Ticket (Forklift HRW license)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change
- Previous experience in a warehouse/cold room preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as autonomously
