Description

Your role will include but not be limited to the following:

Despatch Support:

• Run daily pickables report
• Processing delivery dockets and picking slips
• Receipt of goods
• Support despatch manager

Customer Service:

• Vendor purchase orders
• Stock transport orders
• Managing internal order requisition
• Allocation of finished goods to customer
• Order entry support
• Contribute to process improvements

The role will require you to professionally liaise with account management teams, customer service teams, operations & manufacturing personnel, local & interstate supply chain teams, inventory teams and builders/installers.

Profile

To be the right fit for this role it is expected that you:

• Have a minimum 3 years experience in despatching with sound knowledge of COR legislation.
• Have previous experience in a customer service role.
• Have previous inventory management experience.
• Have manufacturing, building or construction industry experience (preferred).
• Have strong technical aptitude - SAP experience essential
• Have previous experience in logistics (desirable).
• Have demonstrated ability to understand and use complex management/logistics systems
• Have a solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility with incident mitigation at the forefront.
• Have solid geographical knowledge of Adelaide and interstate locations.
• Have a good understanding of transport loads and safety plus fatigue management.
• Have exceptional attention to detail
