An exciting opportunity has become available for a Developer to join our team based at our Gold Coast Office. You will be responsible for performing applications and systems analysis within the Systems Development Team.
Getting to know the role and your responsibilities
- Analyse, research, and evaluate solutions against requirements and/or specifications from the business and business analysts
- Analyse, architect, design, and/or develop configuration, procedure, and/or code (as appropriate) as part of projects and/or support tasks relating to business applications and/or web systems (irrespective of platform)
- Configure application package parameters to support solutions
- Assist in implementing solutions (software architecture, design, testing, training, documentation, communications, facilitation)
- Play a role in implementing solutions and projects
- Support users in their use of applications and processes on a day-to-day basis
- Investigate, analyse, and rectify issues with systems and data (pro-actively where possible, reactively where prompted)
What we need from you
- Proven experience with C# & ASP.NET a requirement
- Proven knowledge and application of Object Oriented design a requirement
- Proven ability to take an existing design provided as an Adobe Photoshop file & implement it using HTML5/CSS3, Javascript & ASP.Net code
- Proven experience with JavaScript including frameworks such as JQuery & JQueryUI a requirement
- Experience developing high traffic consumer facing web & mobile sites a requirement
- Experience with DotNetNuke Content management System a distinct advantage
- Experience with SOAP & Restful Services using WCF & WebAPI a distinct advantage
- Experience with MVC favourable
- Experience with MS-SQL Server / T-SQL favourable
- Experience with unit testing using nUnit & MsTest
- Experience with build & deployment technologies like Nant, MsBuild, MsDeploy favourable Experience with configuration of IIS 7+ desirable
