Your new company Hays Technology are currently partnered with a well-established state government organisation to appoint an experienced Power Platform Specialist to a 6-month contract with extension opportunity. Your new role As the Power Platform Specialist, you will be responsible for the design & development of a Power App to support a Departmental operational workforce planning process. The document that will form the basis of the app has been developed. The contractor will be required to convert this from a MS Word document into a Power App. With a diverse customer base, multiple app versions may be required. We are looking for a contractor who is able to customise/ adjust for our customers wants/needs, with a focus on an easy UX and clean UI. Must be experienced in development of Power Apps, though other Power Platform products will likely be advantageous. The contractor whilst working in a team, will be developing autonomously. You will need to provide insight into the best possible solution for our customer. Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include:
Incorporating user & product owner feedback into your process.
Showing a cadence of delivery through regular client & product owner interactions as part of agile delivery.
Work with the team & clients to understand finer details of implementation across the UI and UX process.
Ability to develop user documentation and/or tutorial videos to improve UX and ensure legacy capability.
Develop technical documentation for handover to client to ensure legacy artefacts.
What you'll need to succeed To successfully attain this position, you will have:
Extensive experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI
Experience with planning and designing ongoing integration requirements of Power Platforms with other applications/platforms.
Writing scalable procedures and performing advanced queries in MS SQL;
Great collaboration skills and ability to work with stakeholders
Excellent communication skills
