Form of work Aspect Personnel are working with a council in Melbourne's eastern Suburbs to recruit a Development Referral Engineer on an initial 4 month contract.Employed as a Development Referral Engineer, you will be responsible for: Evaluating development proposals to assess their impact on infrastructure, transportation networks, and the environment. Providing expert advice and recommendations to internal stakeholders, developers, and external agencies regarding Development Referrals. Collaborating with planning authorities, engineers, and consultants to streamline the development approval process and address technical challenges. Conducting site inspections and technical assessments to verify compliance with relevant regulations and standards. As the ideal candidate you will have/be: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in development planning, transport planning, or related disciplines within a local government context. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, planning schemes, and engineering standards applicable to land development and transportation projects.
