About the Company
Our client, a leading technology provider for the financial industry, is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead their DevOps practices.
About the Role
You will work with 4 scrum teams to design, build and maintain their cloud infrastructure. It is a very exciting opportunity that reports directly into the Software Development Manager.
Duties
- As you are the sole DevOps Engineer, you will influence their DevOps landscape moving forward.
- Help manage projects.
- Work with support staff to help identify & rectify issues.
- Design, build and automate highly available + resilient cloud infrastructure.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a DevOps environment using AWS/Azure.
- Experience with both, Docker & Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills with Powershell, Bash or Python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Git.
- Experience building & administering Windows & Linux systems.
