The opportunity:
We have an opportunity available for a DevOps Engineer to join our Technology team. Within this role you will educate technology teams in DevOps ways of working, while focusing on delivering the relevant self-service framework for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
To do this successfully you will:
- Build and maintain the DevSecOps Platform; develop automated process, pipelines and patterns for all Application Archetypes.
- Mentor and educate software teams in DevSecOps practices to drive best practice and innovation in software delivery.
- Assist architects to establish guidance, governance and blueprints related to the DevSecOps/CICD ecosystem.
- Build, optimise and maintain CI and CD pipelines for faster, more secure, reliable software delivery.
- Work across both business and technology to introduce and promote DevSecOps practices and toolsets to increase adoption and effect cultural change.
Successful applications will demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in communicating new ideas and leading through change.
- Experience in applying Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL Datawarehouse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Blobs, Azure Express Route, Azure VNet, ARM, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps, AKV
- Experience with DevSecOps toolsets, platforms such as: CI/CD, Containerisation, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, OctopusDeploy, Jfrog Artifactory, Nexus, Alpine, Redlock, Twistlock, Helm, Snyk
- Strong experience with DevOps-related scripting languages (e.g. YAML, Python, Terraform)
- Ideally you will also have some experience with REST APIs, Enterprise Java, IMDG (Redis), application performance monitoring (Dynatrace)
- Knowledge and experience with ReactJS, ReactNative, HTML5, AngularJS is also desirable.
