Our Product and Technology team is responsible for the operations of digital products and technology to perform code release deployments and technology upgrades to these environments and are required to troubleshoot and monitor issues that require knowledge of development languages, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, and infrastructure (cloud and On-Premises). We deliver a broad knowledge of the business functions to resolve critical and strategic customer technology challenges and support is provided through a combination of staff, contractors and vendor managed service agreements, blending technical skills and strategy to advise our internal functions and teams with spectacular results. And our team is expanding. We're looking for an Engineer responsible for driving success around Service Level Agreements for Level 2 and 3 application support services within our vast community of solvers.

Use the know-how you've gained in engineering and / or development for at least 4 years of experience. With new problems to solve, you'll have plenty of support and opportunities to grow. We work from anywhere, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout. You'll learn plenty as you work complex technical environments in a workplace that's human-led and tech-enabled.

Day to day, you'll solve problems by troubleshooting incidents in stage and production environments. In our Product and Technology team, you'll also:

• Demonstrate communication skills and the ability to drive continuous performance improvements with the stakeholders, vendors and technology subject matter experts
• Develop, troubleshoot and operate Terraform IaC (infrastructure as code)
• Build, maintain and control stage and production environments
• Proactive in monitoring and alert capabilities exist for all components of the platform
• Ensure system health and capacity is reviewed and enhanced as needed
• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and perform knowledge transfer to others
• Manage Azure / AWS / GCP or distributed VMware environments
• Demonstrate knowledge of at least one container technology such as Docker and one database technology such as MySQL, MS-SQL, or PostgreSQL
• Work with code management tooling such as Github or Gitlab
• Possess knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tooling and deployments
• Demonstrate Linux and Windows administration experience
• Possess experience in configuration management across a multi-platform estate such as Ansible, Puppet or Salt.
• Develop and maintain a current understanding of the technical architecture and designs associated with the application services delivered, and all relevant enabling technologies
• Define and maintain administrative processes that support existing and new application services and capabilities

This role is for a project with 24 months period
