Job Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer (Intermediate to Senior Level) at Randstad Digital, you will be responsible for supporting the Data Insights Hub Team's production environment while leveraging the latest DevOps technologies. The role offers the opportunity to work 100% remotely, providing the flexibility to excel in a collaborative and innovative environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and contribute to the overall stability and scalability of services in the AWS cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and automated deployment processes.
- Provide production support by monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving incidents in a timely manner, maintaining high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with the Data Insights Hub Team to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of deployment strategies.
- Utilize your strong scripting and coding skills in Python to develop and optimize automation scripts for various operational tasks.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the DevOps toolset, identifying and implementing new technologies and best practices.
- Take ownership of incident triage, troubleshooting, and resolution, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Work within an Agile framework, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in automation and DevOps engineering, with a robust background in designing, building, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- In-depth familiarity with Python scripting/coding and a solid understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS.
- Strong knowledge of Jenkins or similar tools for deployment.
- Apache Airflow (preferred) and working knowledge of DBT
- Previous experience working with cloud-based data platforms, preferably with Snowflake.
- Exposure to DevSecOps is an advantage.
- Proficiency in maintaining production environments, ensuring stability, maintenance and scalability.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of incidents and see them through to resolution.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward addressing technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and remote teams.
- Experience working within an Agile development framework, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
