Boab Health Services is a not-for-profit, multidisciplinary primary health care service delivering allied health, mental health, and care coordination services throughout the Kimberley.
About the role
This important role works with a team of dedicated Diabetes Educators to plan and deliver clinical and non-clinical diabetes education support and services to people living in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia. The role delivers services in towns and to remote communities of the region. The position works in partnership with cultural health services, WA State Health Services, and other community-based organisations.
About you
The right fit for us and our company culture is super important so if you are passionate about delivering the best possible health care we are really looking for you. We want someone who can work with clients from all ages and walks of life. Ideally you will have experience in delivering diabetes education across a variety of health settings. You will have ADEA accreditation or are working towards gaining accreditation. Your experience, compassion, and motivation to work rural and remote health care and with Aboriginal people and will be highly regarded. You will have AHPRA registration (if applicable to your discipline) and relevant professional association membership.
