MineSet Recruitment have entry level positions available for candidates interested in getting a start in the Drilling Industry in Western Australia.

These positions do not require any previous mining experience to be considered and are a great opportunity for candidates to be fully trained as Underground or Surface Drillers Offsider's.

These roles are VERY physically and mentally demanding in extremely hot and dirty conditions.  Please consider carefully if you are cut out for this kind of work before applying.

The candidates we are recruiting for will be required to have the following:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a job that has involved heavy manual/physical work or has trade qualifications;
• Be based in Perth;
• HR License
• A positive attitude;
• The ability to perform physically demanding work safely;
• The willingness to learn and be able to follow instructions;
• The ability & stamina to work 12 hour days in challenging conditions;
• No problem working in an underground mine environment;
• HR licence preferred but not essential - (essential for Surface Offsiding);

These roles offer the successful candidates:

• 2 weeks on 1 week off roster;
• Excellent pay rate for entry level;
• Permanent role after qualifying period;
• Full on the job training;

To be considered for any positions with MineSet Recruitment, you must:

• Provide a current NPC (National Police Clearance);
• Hold a current manual Drivers Licence;
• Pass an in-depth pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol screening;
• Be an Australian Permanent Resident; (Please note - Non Residents cannot be considered)
• Provide contactable current and previous employer referees;
• Work well within a team environment;
