Due to our current growth, we are actively recruiting Mine Site Cleaners to join our team within mining camps around Mackay / Bowen Basin & locations in Queensland.
About You
As an experienced Mine Site Cleaner, you are highly motivated, a team player and driven to tackle a new challenge. In addition, to your Mine Site cleaning skills are highly developed from years of industry experience, you are enthusiastic with a passion to provide quality service.
As a hands on Mine Site Cleaner, you will be autonomous and responsible for the day-to-day industrial Mine Site cleaning operations.
Reporting to our Mine Site Manager & the Village Manager – Operations, you will be responsible for leaning all communal buildings and facilities on the Mine Sites, including bathrooms, waste removal, basic grounds keeping and more. It is a physically demanding job that requires you to use a range of cleaning machines & equipment, so you will require a good level of fitness.
The role will be on a DIDO - 7 day on/ 7 day off roster, 12 hours per day
Essential Role Requirements
- 5+ years Mine Site Cleaning experience or relevant role
- Must have or willing to obtain the following Mine Site Cleaning Certificate - Current Coal Board Medical & S11
- Willing to undertake pre-employment functional medicals, DAS and national police check
- Commit to traveling to and from site on a regular basis.
- A proactive team player and worked in high performing teams.
- Experience in achieving KPI's.
- Experience in WPHS and other industry cleaning quality standards.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Class C, Manual Driver’s License and reliable transport with back up should an issue arise
- Be conditioned to the extreme weather in Central QLD
- Be Neat, Tidy and Professional in appearance.
