Job Description:
As an Injection MouldingDie Setter/Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting Injection Moulding machines to ensure efficient and high-quality production. You will work closely with the production team, ensuring production runs smoothly.
The Staff member will be responsible for:
1. Die Setting: Set up of Injection Moulding machines according to production schedules.
2. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to mould setup, machine operation, and product defects to minimize downtime and waste.
3. Quality Control: Perform quality checks as specified and monitor production runs to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of mould changes, machine settings and quality specification. Report any abnormalities or deviations.
5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Promote a culture of safety among the team.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancements in the Injection Moulding department.
To be successful in this role you must have the following:
- Proven experience as an Injection MouldingDie Setter / Technician.
- Proficiency in mould setup, and troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in Injection Moulding.
- Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Able to work afternoon shift.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
