As a workshop Diesel Fitter you will be responsible for maintenance, component changeouts, upgrades and rebuilding of a broad range of equipment in their workshop, including;
- UG trucks and loaders
- Drills - Jumbo, long hole and cablebolt drills (mainly Sandvik)
- IT's
- Light vehicles
- Charge up and spray equipment
- Ancillary equipment - generators, lighting plant, light trucks
The workshop
Located at Eagle Farm this large maintenance facility is well equipped and has the capacity and capability for all realms of machinery maintenance from;-
- Full rebuilds to servicing & machinery assembly
- Heavy fabrication
- Fitting & turning work
- Supported by a large well-equipped stores

Your value
You will be a trade qualified Diesel Fitter and have experience working on earthmoving equipment. You will also;-
- Have a strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and ideally rebuilds
- Earthmoving maintenance experience (highly regarded but not essential)
- High level of detail and ability to deliver quality work
- Team player and a great attitude towards work
