Job Responsibilities:Role Specific:- Provide general support in organising meetings, drafting agendas, and providing general assistance to ensure smooth & efficient running of meetings.
- Compiling and distributing meeting minutes to all parties in line with organisational guidelines and within agreed timeframes, ensuring quality presentation and professionalism of all documentation.
- Provide high-level and general administrative support to the Legal team and other departments as required.
- Actively maintain knowledge of and compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Practices and Regulations Handbook and other documents that may be appropriate within the workplace.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety within the team by complying personally, and fully understanding all safety rules and regulations applicable to area of work.
Organisational Requirements:
- Manage documents and record keeping as per requirements of the relevant government legislation and departmental requirements.
- Establish and maintain effective lines of communication within the organisation.
- Maintain high professional and ethical standards.
- Take ownership for your performance and learning and development to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Work closely and collaborate with other personnel within the immediate team and across the business.
- Assure compliance with Company objectives, policies, procedures, safe work practices, relevant Acts and Regulations.
- Champion excellence and leadership in creating a positive safety culture and actively participate in supporting the Company's objectives, policies, procedures, safe work practices, and relevant Acts and Regulations in New Business.
- Apply housekeeping program to maintain a safe work environment.
- Actively participate to improve and sustain a positive safety culture across the organisation.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety within the team by complying personally, and fully understanding all safety rules and regulations applicable to area of work.
- Actively participate in safety meetings and contribute to the continuous safety improvement.
The Requirements:- Previous 2 year experience or more in Legal Administration
- Preferably experienced with Pronto but not essential
- Intermediate MS Office Programs
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to learn/adapt quickly
- Ability to manage high volumes of work
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- All temporary contractors put forward must have a valid Police Clearance check and Full Work Rights to work in Australia
