Due to operational growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced fitters to join our close knit team at Dargues Mine, Majors Creek, NSW! Being a full-time position, this opportunity is a DIDO or residential position and ready for an immediate start.
The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced underground fitters to join our team at Dargues Mine, Majors Creek NSW. Working autonomously as well as part of a team and ensuring a high quality of work, you will gain and expand your experience and knowledge of underground mining.
This position will see you working a 7 on, 7 off roster in a full-time position, and can be DIDO or Residential to Majors Creek or Braidwood, NSW.
In order to be considered for this position you will need to be able to demonstrate current or previous underground mining and tele-remote experience.
What you’ll need to succeed
Trade qualifications (essential) – Diesel Fitter trade
Have proven experience working on underground heavy equipment (essential)
Tele-remote experience is essential
Experience with CAT, Sandvik and Volvo equipment will be an advantage
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
A strong focus on safety
Hold a current Australian Drivers License
Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance.
