Diesel Fitter, Diesel Mechanic Or Heavy Truck Mechanic

Due to recent growth, VDPH are seeking Diesel Fitters, Diesel Mechanic's or Heavy Truck Mechanic's to join our field service maintenance team.

THE ROLE –

• 7/7 Roster - Alternating Day shift/ Night shift

• Full time entitlements

• DIDO position 

• Meals and accommodation provided

• $$$ Competitive industry rates

• Work Ute Provided - whilst on rostered shifts

The successful candidates will possess the following:

• Relevant Trade Qualification
• Diagnostic experience
• Good communication skills
• Highway truck OR Heavy earthmoving experience a bonus
• Strong fault finding skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• A strong commitment to safety
• The ability to diagnose, carry out repairs and keep on top of scheduled maintenance
• Relevant and contactable references (preferably recent employment)
• Immediate start

Extra skills, experience, tickets and licenses will be advantageous. 

• Forklift ticket
• Remove and fit Tyre
• Coal Board Medical - dated within 5 years or willing to obtain.
• Standard 11 - dated within 5 years or willing to obtain.
