Qube Bulk division provides complete mine to market and mine resupply solutions offering mine, road, rail, storage, port and ship services. We handle more than 85 million tonnes per annum of various bulk ores, concentrates, mineral sands, salt, coal and dangerous goods. Qube Bulk is an industry leader in safety initiatives and innovation through advanced In-Vehicle Management Systems (IVMS), fleet monitoring, supply chain management technology and equipment performance-based standards engineering.
We are looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics to join the Qube team, based in our Gladstone Depot. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this role will perform fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.
Key aspects of this role include:
- Routine services and maintenance repairs (necessary and preventative maintenance) on our fleet of modern trucks, tippers and pneumatic tankers
- Fault diagnosis both electrical and hydraulic
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- 7 on / 7 off roster
- $55 / hour + super
In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:
- A diesel mechanic qualification with previous experience in a similar role
- Proven experience working with Kenworth, Cummins and CAT vehicles
- Hold a current driver’s license
- Hold or have the ability to gain HR, MC and Forklift licenses
- Have an ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Have the ability to pass an ASIO/Police clearance
- Have a positive attitude
It is preferable, but not essential that you have:
- Previous experience working on road transport

This is a residential role only, so candidates must either live in or be willing to relocate to Gladstone. Accommodation is provided.
