About the role:
We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our team, with opportunities in Central Queensland and the Northern Territory. Our core fleet consists of late model Scrapers, Excavators, Loaders, Dozers, Grader, Articulated Dump/Water Trucks, and Auxiliary Equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and reconditioning works on all types of Earthmoving and Heavy Diesel Equipment at various locations and sites.
- Scheduled inspections, introductions, and brake testing of plant and equipment to comply with site standards.
- Performing breakdown maintenance and diagnostics on our and client sites where our Plant and Equipment are working.
Requirements:
- Trade qualifications – Mechanical (Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic).
- MR/HR Driver's License.
- General Construction Induction (White Card).
- Experience in preventative maintenance, electrical and mechanical fault. diagnostics, and repairs of Civil/Mining Earthmoving Equipment.
- Experience with various Diagnostic Systems.
- Well-developed communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and as a team as required.
- Commitment to a high level of workplace health and safety.
- Ability to obtain a Coal Board Medical and Standard 11.
- Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening.
