About the role
Based in Welcome Creek, QLD, this is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing and progressive industry. Critical to the success of this position, you will be able to work independently or as a part of a part of a team displaying a positive “can do, will do” attitude. You will work on a diverse range of tasks from mechanical repairs and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment, working with both new and existing equipment.
This role requires a person who is available to work reasonable additional hours.
Key Selection Criteria
• Trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics/ Fitter
• Previous experience with repairs and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment (desirable)
• Demonstrates high attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to complete physically demanding tasks in a safe manner
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks
• Previous experience working with, and applying Work Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Current HR Forklift Licence
