The Company Within the Australian Thoroughbred Racing Industry, Racing Australia (RA) provides a number of integrated products and services nationally to Principal Racing Authorities (PRA), Race Clubs, Owners, Trainers, Breeders, Jockeys and Racing Enthusiasts. RA also fulfils an important role in managing the industry's racing materials on a national basis. The Racing Australia Service Centre is seeking the services of a suitably qualified employee on a Permanent basis to deliver high quality customer service functions to its customer base in our Flemington Office. The role would also include producing racebooks on an ad hoc basis within our Publishing Team. The key functions of the role include, but are not limited to, the following: · Provide telephone and administrative support in the day to day operations of the Racing Australia Service Centre and to other parts of the business nationally. · Assist with the collation and processing of racing materials and data for all states and territories in line within deadlines. · Assist with the management, layout & production of the various Racing Australia produced on-course race books & publications. Key attributes include: · An ability to learn as In-House Training will be provided · Excellent written and verbal communications skills · Competency in Microsoft suite of products (Outlook essential) · Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite · Self-motivated · Reliable · Punctual · High degree of Attention to Detail Good to have: · An understanding of the Racing Industry.
