- General mechanical works
- Both major and minor repairs
- Carrying out breakdown repairs
- Scheduled maintenance
- Working on mostly earth moving equipment at our landfill site and Transfer Stations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade certified Heavy Diesel Mechanic is essential for this role.
- Proven experience with repairing a range of earth moving equipment.
- A current HR truck driving licence and a Forklift licence would be advantageous.
- Experience in hydraulics, automotive electrics and welding will be highly regarded.
- Familiarity with Quality Assurance & Occupational Health & Safety
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Be reliable, motivated, and able to work under pressure and changing priorities.
