As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for all aspects of mechanical repair.Your role would include and not be limited to the following duties: Diagnosing, repairing, fitting and overhauling diesel engines and plant equipment. Maintaining, diagnosing, repairing and fitting hydraulic components of diesel–powered attachments such as pumps and injectors. Dismantling, repairing and reassembling engines, transmissions, steering columns and other components. Using oxy, electric, TIG and MIG welding techniques to fit, replace, assemble and repair metal parts including fabrication of parts, machinery and other equipment.
