Diesel Motor Mechanic

Iceman Group are one of the largest independent transport refrigeration/trailer repair companies in Australia. We are looking for a Trailer Mechanic to join our expanding team in Murarrie, Brisbane. You will be working within the team as well as autonomously to repair our customer's trailers and equipment.
Role Responsibilities:

• Undertake day to day truck and trailer repair and maintenance activities to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness.
• Servicing and maintaining trucks and trailers as per the customer requests.
• Ensure good liaison with Operations staff on vehicle availability against maintenance schedule, making sure vehicles are maintained and ready to use as required.
• Respond to, investigate and repair vehicle defects as notified by drivers.

Skills and Experience

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Motor Mechanic or equivalent or relevant experience
• Experience in maintaining trailers is essential
• Have a strong adherence OH&S and in keeping as safe workplace
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as required

The remuneration for this role is between $70,000 - $85,000 per annum depending on experience.
