Diesel Motor Mechanic

Driveline Services Australiais an Australian owned and operated automotive aftermarket company specialisingin the manufacture, export, import, supply and distribution of a comprehensiverange of underbody parts and services for passenger, performance, 4WD, truck,bus, agricultural and mining equipment. We are a growing company with over 40years of industry experience that now operates thirteen branches stretchingalong the eastern seaboard of Australia from Townsville to Tasmania and acrossthe country to Perth.

Thecompany is currently seeking an experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic for ourlocation in Dubbo, New South Wales, to help build this branch into a keysupplier to the local mining, automotive and transport industries.

Thisposition will be involved with various heavy and light vehicle mechanicalrepairs, both on and off vehicle, including fault diagnosis, removal and refitand component repairs. Qualifications needed are a Certificate IV or equivalentmechanical qualification or at least four years full-time experience.

Thesuccessful applicant must have previous mechanical workshop experience and be amotivated and energetic individual able to work productively with others in ahands-on, small team environment and be flexible, self-sufficient, practicaland able to meet deadlines.

Trainingwill be provided as required, however the ability to learn quickly and work unsupervisedwith a positive work ethic is essential. A proven ability to safely andconsistently produce quality workmanship is a priority. You will also requirefull-time working rights in Australia, a high standard of attention to detail,the ability to manage your time effectively and be willing to follow allcompany and Work Health and Safety procedures. A valid Australian forkliftlicence and manual vehicle licence are highly desirable.
