Address Popeys Diesel Service has been locally owned and operated with over 15 years of experience in the industry. We specialize in the service, repair and rebuild of underground and surface machinery.
Currently, we are seeking enthusiastic diesel fitters / auto electricians to join our team, located in Mount Isa, Queensland.
Reporting to the workshop manager, you will be responsible for
- Conducting service and diagnostic activities across a range of earthmoving equipment
- Complete on site repairs, inclusive of completing tasks in a timely manner and to a very high standard
- Complete workshop repairs and component rebuilds in our fully equipped workshop located in Mount Isa
• All trade applicants require prior experience in all facets of surface and underground mining equipment. Caterpillar and Jumbo repair and maintenance experience would be preferable. Technical training can be offered to the suitable candidate.
• Current driver’s license essential
• Hold a current medical and ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Have a high standard and positive attitude toward safety.
