Address Position Description
Aerotech is seeking a Mechanic to support the growing fleet of speciality vehicles and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) required to run our maintenance facility in Alice Springs.
The types of equipment that will be the responsibility of the GSE Mechanic are:
Aircraft Tugs (Diesel Powered)
Forklifts (LPG)
All-Terrain Vehicles (4-Stroke Unleaded)
Ground Power Units (Diesel Powered)
Scissor Lifts (Diesel and Electric Powered)
Aircraft jacks (axle and tripod), serviceable up to 150 ton
The Mechanic will also manage the ongoing maintenance associated with the commercial vehicle fleet (comprising of Toyota Hilux/Hiace).
RequirementsCandidate Requirements
Candidates will have at least 5 years of experience as a qualified mechanic and the following personal and professional traits:
Excellent Communication (written and verbal)
Exceptional work ethic
Practical outlook without compromising attention to detail
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Be fluent in English (written and spoken)
