Western Health is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Grade 3 Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (DPFC), a maximum-security women’s prison in a part time, ongoing capacity. The Grade 3 dietitian role within DPFC involves the assessment and management of referred and nutritionally high risk women in custody who have nutrition related conditions. At DPFC the Dietitian will form part of a well-supported and innovative multidisciplinary team and will be provided with staff training as required.
From 1 July, 2023 the delivery of primary healthcare transitioned from the previous service provider to Western Health. The multidisciplinary team provides holistic and interconnected service provision to patients at DPFC. Successful applicants will be on boarded with orientation and training including additional training to support the delivery of culturally appropriate, trauma informed, gender affirming care for all patients including priority cohorts.
