About the Role
The Grade 1 Dietitian provides Dietetic services within Monash Health bed based patient services, outpatient services and clinics with the aim of improving patient outcome and/or facilitating discharge. They will actively contribute to the Nutrition and Dietetic and multidisciplinary teams by providing best practice clinical care, sharing knowledge and participating in professional development, quality improvement activities, and projects as delegated. The Grade 1 Dietitian is supported by their clinical supervisor and Grade 1 group to enhance their learning and development. This diverse opportunity will see you:
Provide evidence based clinical Dietetics care to our inpatients
Work with Monash Health’s exceptional Nutrition and Dietetic and Allied Health staff

About Us
Nutrition and Dietetics are an integral part of a wider Allied Health and ward multidisciplinary team. We provide a comprehensive range of specialist acute and sub-acute services across all Monash Health sites. We collaboratively ensure the best outcome for clients in our care. We are looking forward to welcoming a Grade 1 Dietitian to our friendly and dynamic team on a full time capacity. The role will predominantly be based in Monash Medical Centre, Clayton but travel to other Monash Health sites may be required. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills and gain exposure to a wide range of specialities. You will be supported throughout by our well networked and experienced team.

Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills and are committed to evidence based practice
Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
Eligibility for membership of the Dietitians Australia (DA) and the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) program.
Preferably at least 6 months clinical experience in a hospital setting
