Dietitian - Senior

The Eating Disorder Specialist Service (EDSS) are looking for a Senior Dietitian to join their team. The EDSS provides specialist eating disorder interventions and workforce capability-building, across adult and child and youth mental health services within Metro South Health. The EDSS provides multidisciplinary assessment, consultation, treatment, and evidence-informed interventions to meet the complex needs of individuals with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder.

About the Role
The purpose of this role is to deliver senior dietetic services within a specialised mental health eating disorder service.

This includes:
• Delivering high quality evidenced based nutrition and dietetic clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team. 
• Contribution to the advancement of quality nutrition and dietetic services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
• Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
• Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).
