Job description

A leading Digital agency is on the hunt for a talented Account Manager OR Senior Account Manager to join the creative team. 

We’re looking for someone to bring their passion for all things social, trends and creative to the agency to support or growing team. Of course, managing client relationships and creative production is a must but most importantly, you’ll have your finger on the pulse when it comes to new creative formats and what’s going viral.

You’ll be a great communicator, incredibly organised and will enjoy the challenge of working over a number of projects with our clients and internal teams.

The role

The Account Manager has responsibility for the smooth and effective running of the day-to-day tasks within key client accounts with a focus on great delivery. This means managing multiple tasks for various clients whilst keeping the agreed scope, timing, and budget in mind. You will be responsible for ensuring that team members are kept up to date on work scheduling and development, for example: changes to project timelines, briefs, cost, deliverables, and overall ensuring work runs efficiently.

Who are we looking for?

A great communicator. It is important that you work closely and regularly with the different departments in the agency. You need to be able to understand the role of these departments, bringing them together to deliver cohesive comms for your clients. You’ll be confident in leading briefings across departments and skillsets. You should be comfortable navigating creative asset delivery across multiple channels, in particular across paid and organic social. You’ll know the specs and formats like the back of your hand and most importantly, you should be confident communicating your knowledge with the client and team members, understanding of what they want and need to be able deliver to brief.

Day to day you’ll:

• Work with internal teams to define scope, resource requirements and cost estimates for projects.

• Produce accurate timelines with clearly flagged milestones.

• Work with the client’s third-party agencies and suppliers to jointly scope, manage and deliver campaigns when appropriate.

• Log projects’ status, timings, key milestones, budgets, and resourcing so you can report these to the Account Director/ Business Director.

• Assess the time and financial impact of changes and communicate these to Account Handlers.

• Understand the key technical aspects of the development process for website, email, and online advertising.

• Be commercially aware. You should have an idea of the budget for your projects at all times; reporting weekly into the Account Director.

• Be on the pulse when it comes to new social media formats and trends
