Purpose of the Role

Join Auto & General's dynamic marketing team to innovate solutions for business challenges in a stimulating environment. Support a skilled Digital Analytics team in developing cloud-based solutions and optimizing performance. Drive enhancements via cloud automation, marketing analytics code development, and A/B testing techniques.

Position Accountabilities

• Enhance our Digital Analytics capability within Australia’s premier marketing team
• Utilise APIs to extract and manipulate data from SAAS platforms like Google Analytics and the Google Marketing Platform
• Assist in developing intricate A/B tests for our insurance quote and sales processes
• Proactively seek automation and optimization opportunities using Cloud tools
• Address ad-hoc business challenges through code development, cloud engineering, and data analysis
• Enhance implementations of Google Analytics and Acoustic Tealeaf
• Research and recommend suitable technologies
• Foster relationships with third-party vendor product managers
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and statutory requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficient in Cloud tools, especially Google Cloud Platform components like BigQuery, PubSub, Datastore, and Cloud Functions.
• Experience with APIs of third-party vendors (e.g., Google, Meta) for data extraction and management within SAAS platforms like Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Search Ads 360.
• Familiarity with Tag Managers, especially Google Tag Manager, and server-side implementations. •
• Experience with A/B testing platforms for test deployment and management.
• Advanced front-end development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery).
• Strong SQL skills, preferably with Google BigQuery.
• Experience with enterprise reporting and analysis platforms like Tableau.
• Familiarity with Flutter, Python, and R is advantageous.
• Collaboration with internal testing teams to ensure code validity and compliance.
• Prior experience with GA4 implementation and analysis is beneficial.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn new software.
• Effective prioritization skills and project status communication.
• Understanding of Git version control is advantageous.
• Knowledge of business and marketing principles.
