Our Digital Analytics Lead sets the strategic direction and leads the maturation of the function, playing a pivotal role in our goal of being Australia's leading customer, data and digital lead retailer​.

You will be accountable for managing the intake, prioritisation and capacity of the Digital Analytics function, ensuring facilitation of timely insights that better inform decisions and deliver maximum business value​. Responsible for creating and leading a high performing team, you will simultaneously be finding better ways to democratise data and insights to empower the wider teams to make data informed decisions​. Overall, you will be continuously improving our ways of working, implementing frameworks and processes to empower teams to deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers and stakeholders​.

About the Opportunity:
  • Grow the maturity of the digital analytics practice, including data accuracy, data utilisation and democratization, data layer strategy, in-housing key analytics functions alongside business case creation and value/measurement estimation frameworks to increase the trust of data and reports​
  • Lead insight generation and support to all OMNI teams, including education and driving self service informing trading, alongside manage the creation of the right dashboards, digital analytics implementation and audience segmentation ​
  • Drive commercial modelling to help create business cases and oversee, improve and support the delivery of accurate data and measurements used to quantify the impact of digital experience initiatives and validate investment decisions​
  • Inspire and influence all Myer team members to focus on quality Omni-channel customer outcomes backed by data, as well as engraining an agile mindset focused on the fast and iterative delivery of ongoing value (progress over perfection)​
  • Managing intake, prioritisation and capacity of the digital Analytics function
  • Recruit, lead, mentor and coach team members to develop high performing teams ​
  • Review, improve and create new processes to enable better more efficient ways of working
  • Ensure appropriate data governance, privacy, security standards, correct processes and quality assurance are upheld​
  • Lead procurement projects for new suppliers and technology, as required for this digital analytics space ​
  • Creation and management of the online budgets, reconciliation and invoicing approvals for the OMNI team expenditure​
About You:
  • Experience in managing or mentoring a team and driving a culture of high performance
  • Excellent communication skills; a natural collaborator with the ability to influence stakeholders to drive growth and communicate a clear strategic vision
  • Highly organised, capable of operating within a fast-paced and complex retail environment
  • Keen attention to detail, flexible, ability to foresee potential future issues and pivot as required
  • Extensive experience in Digital Analytics, with strong knowledge around commercial objectives alongside exposure to Google Analytics
  • Developed team objectives, roles and responsibilities in line with overall business objectives, and with clear timelines, relevant metrics and measures of success
