The Role
We’re looking for an experienced marketing and communications professional with a strong background in planning and delivery of communication to diverse audiences, through digital channels.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring that the Western Australian community has up-to-date information about the significant investment occurring in rail infrastructure upgrades and in particular communicating the progress of key milestones reached and impacts on local communities.
This position will work closely with a large range of internal stakeholders as well as our creative services agency, and will lead a small team.
This is a fixed-term appointment with a contract end date of 31 December 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur for up to 12 months.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Well-versed in social media and digital trends and able to align them with the strategic goals of the organisation
- Experienced in leading a high-performing team in a complex organisation
- Enthusiastic about developing and implementing strategies, campaigns and solutions for digital communications
- Has demonstrated experience managing digital marketing campaigns and producing content for multiple platforms
- Able to effectively collaborate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
