We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Communications Specialist at our Perth office, on a Permanent Full-Time basis.
About this role
This position supports Digital Communications and brand and marketing activities for the organisation in line with overall business requirements. These activities include contributing to developing and coordinating the implementation of Western Power’s brand and marketing strategies, with particular focus on the authoring of digital content and mapping out digital content strategies. design. You will also be required to:
- Generate digital/ social media content, with a strong focus on copywriting and channel optimisation
- Contribute to the development of Western Power’s brand, marketing and digital strategies.
- Help implement Western Power’s digital strategy and associated content strategy.
- Provide digital/ social analytical metrics
- Build and execute digital campaigns
- Develop digital strategies
- Demonstrate continuous improvement and innovation of work practices.
- The sharing of technical knowledge and information.
- Manage own work in order to meet planned outputs.
- Developing and improving own personal effectiveness.
- Provide timely, accurate and relevant digital, brand and design advice and support to internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Act as representative for the organisation at Western Power events when required, and do other duties as required from time to time.
About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing or communications or related field such as public relations or journalism.
- Sound knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of content and/or communication strategies.
- Experience of utilising online and digital channels to achieve marketing and/or communications objectives.
- Experience of managing budgets associated with marketing/communications activities.
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems and web-based programs
- Experience of working with advertising, media, design and research agencies.
- Sound knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of content and/or communication strategies.
- Experience of utilising online and digital channels to achieve marketing and/or communications objectives.
