Groundplan is a growing software company. Our team works from home, and we actively encourage a healthy work/life balance. 

Our software assists trade businesses in their takeoff and estimating process. The company has been steadily growing for over ten years. The time has come to enhance and increase multimedia activity throughout our marketing channels.

We're looking for a vibrant team member with experience in creating engaging multimedia content, primarily, but not restricted to, social media. Experience in print and graphic design would be a huge bonus.

You'll be required to create marketing assets for various marketing channels, including social media, our website, EDMs, tradeshow activity and occasional print.

We're open to your creative ideas. You'll be required to flex your creative muscle and show us how we get our audience's attention and elevate the brand's image.

Here's an excellent opportunity to work from home full-time with great people in a growing software company. 

Visiting clients on-site will also be required.

All equipment will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging social media content in varying formats
• Video editing for long-form case studies and tutorials
• Create graphics for web & print
• Actively contribute new and fresh ideas

You have a passion for all things visual and creative. 

We're looking for both a technical and creatively minded individual who is comfortable working from home.

You're an accomplished designer with experience creating lively motion and static graphics. 

You're willing to go above and beyond to learn about an industry that is likely foreign to you (the trade industry) so you’ll need to actively engage with the team to gather the information required to achieve an outcome.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager and communicating regularly via Slack, you'll be able to use your time working from home effectively, displaying both initiative and a willingness to take direction.

Essential attributes

• Experience in creating social media content (please provide examples of your work)
• Motivated and energetic with excellent communication skills
• Willingness to understand our target industries
• Self-accountable and comfortable working in a remote setting

Bonus but not essential

• Experience in print design
• Experience in social media management and reporting
• Experience with photography and video
• Experience in website management (namely Webflow)
