In your new role as the Digital Development Team Lead, you will lead a team of application development professionals and be responsible for the investigation, development and implementation of high quality digital internal and external platforms and business applications and tools through internet, intranet, social media, mobile applications and other emerging innovations, enabling Treasury to remain contemporary in its use of business software.
In this role, you will:
Lead a client focused team, supporting the Manager in team coordination, mentoring and coaching, and planning and managing a variety of projects and activities in accordance with agile project management methodologies. Engage with a variety of stakeholder providing expert end to end business analysis services to business areas across Treasury, from requirements gathering and costing, through to operational support management. Support and assist in the development of software development strategies, policies, and systems in alignment with business objectives and whole-of-Government frameworks across multiple software packages including O365, ServiceNow and CRM.
Communicate as the Team Leader for all team members, through open and clear communication skills, both verbal and written. This role is also required to operate proactively to ensure effective planning, efficient team operations and productive collaboration across the team and with stakeholders.
Actively develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including Treasury business units, ICT industry, business partners and potential partners.
Project Manage the timely delivery of digital initiatives including build, integration, improvement, adaption, and quality assurance from concept to delivery, ensuring that project milestones are delivered on time and within budget. Research, maintain awareness and represent the Department's interests in the development of current and emerging application lifecycle and whole-of-Government strategies, trends, policies, standards and guidelines.
What experience you will bring:
- Expertise and experience with software development lifecycle strategies and systems.
- Expertise in the application of digital service strategies and systems to improve business outcomes.
- Specific knowledge and experience with O365, ServiceNow and CRM technologies is also advantageous.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, however, relevant qualifications in are highly regarded.
