Job description

What's the role?
  • Reporting to the Digital Director, this role is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Body+Soul digital assets, including video and social media channels, to deliver audience, engagement and commercial content KPIs.
As part of this, you will also be required to commission, edit, publish and curate content for site verticals, video and social media as required to ensure daily audience metrics are met.
You will also deliver best-in-class SEO content ideas, headlines and articles that drive audience and revenue for commercial partners.
Use data-based insights to inform content and provide input into strategic plans.
Assist in the digital production of editorial content as required, deputising to members of the digital team where needed.
As the brand lead responsible for overseeing the scheduling, posting and monitoring of our social media channels, you will work with the social media lead to ensure we capture the passion of our audience and that our content speaks to them and suits the platforms they are using, ultimately delivering referrals back to the brand website.
Utilise a variety of platforms to share, source and interact daily with our audiences, striking a balance between stories that inform and spark debate with those that are fun and entertaining.
Represent the brand at industry and internal meetings and events as required.
Work to tight and strict deadlines.
Who are you?
  • Ideally, have three to five years of industry experience in a similar digital role, with experience in the health and lifestyle media preferred.
Content is your passion, making you the go-to person for executing the best tactics to increase reach, engagement and referrals.
You are data-led, fluent in analytics, and know how to implement strategies based on data.
You understand and have experience in curating content for a lifestyle brand, with an eye for balancing digital requirements and upholding the brand's aesthetic look and feel.
SEO is your bread and butter, and you understand and have experience in the art of crafting the perfect headline for different stories based on keyword targeting and user behaviour.
Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube and the next big thing, it doesn't matter because you're across it all and know exactly what it takes to get a reaction.
You stay on top of the latest news, tools and social technology developments that enable us to engage readers and achieve business goals.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs (primarily Photoshop) and experience working in WordPress CMS environments is required.
You are a strong communicator and are able to work with multiple stakeholders across commercial, marketing, editorial and product teams.
Take initiative to work on a range of projects, manage strict deadlines and be able to work independently.
