About the Role
Create high-quality video-led digital and social content on a daily basis for triple j Hack, that supports the digital content strategy and ABC objectives.
As Digital Producer & Video Editor/ Presenter, Hack, you will create high-quality video-led digital and social content on a daily basis for triple j Hack, that supports the digital content strategy and ABC objectives.
You'll be producing and presenting social video content for triple j’s Hack target demographic, with a focus on video for platforms including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
You'll be breaking down the biggest news stories - as well as digging into the things that have young Aussies talking - each day, while also supporting the production of original digital content including writing copy, taking, and editing images and graphic asset creation.
If you love music, pop culture, news and politics, this is your chance to work with the best team of young journalists in the country and lead the online conversation for young people.
About You
You’ll be a sharp digital content maker, with experience in online journalism and experience in live radio production and broadcasting. You’ll possess strong knowledge of key issues that are relevant to and affect the 18-24 audience and the ability to create cross platform stories to engage this audience.
You have:
- Sound social media skills, including using digital and social media analytics to discover, cerate, share and improve editorial content.
- Demonstrated ability in working with content management systems, social media platforms and image/video editing software.
- Ability to work under competing and tight deadlines; and a collaborative team player with the ability to work with multiple teams with diverse ideas and business objectives.
