What you'll do as a Deputy Social & Digital Media Editor:The Deputy Social & Digital Media Editor is a crucial role in helping to drive the news strategy across our online platforms. The role requires a strong understanding of the news cycle, digital and social media; generating stories, sourcing and curating pitches; sub-editing copy, design and video knowledge. Assisting daily operations and helping lead a national team of talented online news producers.What will you be doing?Help manage and grow 10 News First's digital and presence on all off platformAssist daily operations of editorial, curate the newslist and lead sub-editing for Social & Digital teamAssist in live events or breaking news, which may include working out of office hours or on weekends as requiredWork with the editor to maximise audience engagement, monetisation and brand presence.Develop excellent relationships with 10 News First broadcast teamLeverage social channels to source and gather contentRegular reporting and assist in KPI management for the teamWhat are we looking for?
