About the Role
We are looking for a creative and analytic digital specialist to join our growing team.
You will use your skills, knowledge and experience to support our many for-purpose clients to maximise fundraising income and build brand awareness.
You are data driven, proactive, have impeccable attention to detail and are a born problem solver. Working with a team of experienced fundraisers and CRM specialists, you will be abreast of all digital trends, releases and best practice in the digital space.
This full-time or part-time 0.8FTE role offers flexibility in working hours, with some work based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne as well as remote work.
Here are the key responsibilities and required knowledge, skills and abilities for this role:
Key Responsibilities
On a daily basis, the Digital Fundraising Specialist will be responsible for:
- Designing, building and configuring online fundraising and eDM campaigns in Raisely and other digital platforms
- Managing the integrations between online platforms and client donor databases, including Raisely, Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp, Ortto and Salesforce
- Implementing and managing UTM tracking to optimise campaign performance and enhance analytics insights
- Implement and manage PURLs
- Creation and management of Google Ads and Meta Ad campaigns to drive Digital Fundraising efforts
- Setup and monitoring of Google Analytics
- Collaborating with the design team to create visually impactful graphics for digital campaigns
- Working closely with the team to ensure cohesive and effective digital marketing strategies
- Input into long term digital strategies to maximise client brand awareness and fundraising income
- Data analytics and reporting for campaigns
- Email marketing set up including donor experience and journeys
The ideal candidate for the Digital Fundraising Specialist position should possess the following qualifications, skills and experience.
Required skills
- 4+ years of experience in a Digital Specialist or similar role in an agency or not-for-profit environment.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Digital Fundraising and/or marketing practices.
- Extensive experience in Google Analytics (GA4) and leveraging analytics data to inform and optimise digital campaigns including experience with Google Tag Manager.
- Experience with Meta platforms.
- Strong SEO knowledge and experience in implementing SEO strategies to enhance online visibility.
- A degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred, providing a solid foundation in marketing principles and strategies.
- Experience in Meta pixel.
- Time Management and Efficiency: Possess good time management skills and efficient work practices to handle various tasks promptly.
- Proactive Attitude: Display a proactive approach to all client challenges, constantly seeking ways to improve digital processes.
- Desire for Best Practices: Demonstrate a strong desire to implement best practice solutions, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
- Responsiveness: Be available and responsive to questions and requests from team members and clients.
