Job description

In this role your primary objective will be to devise and execute business strategies aimed at maximizing platform efficiency. Your duties will encompass pinpointing procedural and technical deficiencies and devising remedial strategies. You will collaborate closely with product managers and technology management, ensuring alignment with both immediate and future business objectives. You will play a vital role within the PM&E (Product Management & Engineering) domain, requiring keen attention to incident management, production oversight, alert systems, stakeholder liaison, compliance, change control, and release management.
Key Responsibilities…

  • Strong focus on reporting, metrics and observability
  • Maintains systems by researching and resolving problems; maintaining system integrity and security
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information
  • Improving and documenting workflow for platform releases
  • Ensures performance and logging standards are upheld
  • Analyses customer feedback in real-time to ensure production issues are identified immediately
  • Maintains a strong relationship with suppliers (Integration teams, D365, Sabre, low cost carriers etc)
  • Works closely with Website Customer Support and Finance teams to ensure the platform is continually improving based on their needs
  • Refines infrastructure and application monitoring and observability to ensure the right information is being collected from the right services.
  • Uses the above information to make sound Platform decisions
Who you are…
  • 3 - 5 Years in similar role
  • Basic understanding of all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle
  • Good quality documentation skills, both technical and non-technical
  • Sound business analysis skills, including solution definition, business process flows, impact analysis, problem resolution and reporting
  • Attention to detail and effective organisation and time management skills
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
  • Travel industry domain experience, especially air and hotels
  • Agile software development methodology experience
  • Working with external vendors and suppliers and Knowledge of Security best practices
