Could you be the Tooling Engineer we’re looking for based in our Dandenong site?
This is a 12 month fixed term contract reporting to the Industrial Engineer Manager, you will manage and coordinate the creation and revision of lift plans for site and project operations.
We'll look to you for the following activities:

  • Support to create, review, and revise lift plans
  • Manage contractor lifting operations and review technical data and lift plans
  • Provide expertise knowledge on lifting operations techniques and methods
  • Perform audits on lifting operations for compliance and improvement
  • Design concepts for lifting tools and jigs for continuous improvement
  • Manage the site inventory of spare lifting equipment consumables
  • Manage lifting operations from a process an EHS perspective.

  • Technical instruction writing
  • Knowledge with the Australian Standards associated with lifting operations, tooling and equipment
  • Interpretation of technical engineering drawings and documentation
  • Dogging/Rigging high risk work licence
  • Experience working with overhead/pick and carry/mobile cranes
  • Engineering principles i.e. lifting tooling concept design
  • Experience with CATIA, AutoCAD and excel
  • Strong safety compass
