This opportunity
Working across Vodafone, TPG and iinet websites, the Digital Sales Manager is responsible for defining and driving the digital sales strategy and plan, working closely with digital campaign squads, digital product, content, visual design, UX, production, brand, customer lifecycle management, and pricing teams to drive channel performance improvements to achieve targets.
You will also have responsibility in conjunction with the Senior Digital Sales Manager for promoting the digital agenda across the business, including securing digital offers, capability requirements, customer experience improvements and traffic generation opportunities to improve digital mix. You will be accountable for streamlining communication and execution of products and promotions impacting digital channels, assisting with sales reporting, forecasting sales impact of offers and promotions and aligning initiatives to the digital budget. To achieve this you will need to be highly effective at stakeholder management and have strong commercial acumen.
Responsibilities
- Digital sales strategy: define and drive the digital sales strategy in line with the Digital Budget, the broader Sales strategy and Consumer Commercial strategy
- Digital sales plan execution and measurement: ensure best-practice campaign execution and performance measurement across a multi-functional team with a strategic and commercial focus; evangelise data-driven decision making in a test & learn environment towards continuous improvement
- Measurement, analysis & insight generation as well as forecasting of products, offers, campaigns and funnel metrics across key digital journeys, working closely with the Digital Analytics team and other digital sales managers.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as digital product, content, visual design, UX, production, brand, customer lifecycle management, and pricing teams to ensure alignment between the cross-channel product, offer and promotion portfolio and initiatives
- Analyse performance: Work with the digital analytics team to create and monitor product and campaign dashboards within the Google Analytics suite, identifying gaps and opportunities and reporting on key trends. Regular analysis of customer verbatim from various sources (eg. Chat transcripts, CSAT survey), identification of trends and recommendations to improve the online customer experience
Knowledge and experience
- Foundational understanding of analytics (Google Analytics and ability to brief in analytics team for more complex requests
- Experience in trading reporting (i.e. reporting performance to senior management)
- Experience working on campaign/offer delivery
- Experience/ skills in identifying conversion optimization opportunities
