Digital Solution Architect – NSW Government
- Up to $1175 p/d + super
- 6 month contract w/ extensions (multi-year program)
- Parramatta/WFH
The Digital Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in a large digital transformation program within a NSW Government Department. The incumbent will collaborate with various stakeholders to design, develop, and implement Digital Solutions that support the program and wider NSW community.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business intentions, services, processes, and information needs related to the program.
- Review and analyze business requirements to identify and document changes necessary for Digital Solutions and enhancements.
- Develop Solution Architecture designs and technical specifications aligned with business objectives and requirements.
- Lead the design and development of scalable and sustainable Digital Solutions ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed Digital Solutions and enhancements.
- Ensure the integrity, security, and reliability of Digital Solutions by implementing appropriate architectural patterns and security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, testers, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of Digital Solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in Solution Architecture and recommend innovative solutions to address business challenges.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, preferably within government or enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and enterprise integration concepts.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
