Chic rooms and suites embrace the iconic attractions just steps away, while the award-winning restaurant and street front bar are destinations unto themselves.About the role:Maintenance of this luxury hotel is conducted 24 hours per day, 7 days a week and our expert team of Shift Engineers work on a rotating basis to ensure the hotel is kept in perfect condition and our guests needs are met at any hour of the day or night. In this position we are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a professional environment, has great customer service skills, high operating standards and enjoys being "hands on" by utilising their exceptional eye for detail. This position is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the Hotel and its facilities.What you will do:Completion of all engineering daily shift tasks necessary to maintain the property in an efficient condition, in order to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and employeesEstablish and maintain a strong working relationship with contractors and suppliers who will furnish reliable 24 hour emergency service as necessaryEnsure proper execution of work order systems and that items are followed up on for completion.Work cohesively with the Rooms and Food & Beverage Divisions to maintain our guest rooms, Food & Beverage outlets and public areas, to the highest levels of quality and functionalityWhat you will bring:Proven experience as a Shift Engineer being solid across all technical areas, preferably within a large hotel that delivers five star qualityMechanical/Electrical experience is requiredThe ability to build and maintain strong relationships with people at all levels, across all areas, including contractors, suppliers, guests and of course our employeesA passion for providing a great guest experience and impeccable productSolid verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skillsStrong multi-tasking abilityWhat we offer:Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits packageExcellent Training and Development opportunitiesComplimentary Accommodation at other Four Seasons Hotels and ResortsComplimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee UniformsComplimentary Employee MealsIf you fit the above criteria, we look forward to receiving your application!Candidates will need the right to work in Australia.We make it a point to take the time to review each resume carefully to select those that are a match with the preferred qualifications for the job.
