Currently we are seeking a smart and energised Digital Technology Operations Lead.

The Digital Technology Operations Lead role is responsible for looking after our people, their performance and creating processes to support them in their work to build and maintain a Continuous Delivery Pipeline for an Agile Release Train. Your team will be supporting infrastructure (Cloud and On-Premises environments). The role collaborates with others to enable development, integration, testing and continuous deployment of software solutions to multiple development and production environments.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining all required processes associated with the Continuous Delivery Pipeline (Software Factories) and supporting infrastructure (Cloud and On-Premises).
  • Managing the performance and development of a cross functional team within a matrix organisation.
  • Delivering operations and maintenance instructions to the Continuous Delivery Pipeline (Software Factories).
  • Collaborating with Application and Continuous Delivery Pipeline architects to manage technical operations with specific focus on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and effectiveness of automation.
  • Mentoring and coaching the broader team to ensure processes are consistent with the architecture, DevSecOps practices, and achieving required performance.
  • Research new development practices and techniques to continuous delivery of solutions.
  • Defining, measuring, and monitoring progress to achieve Service Level Agreements (SLA) to timely deliver software release within defined quality standards.

Skills, Experience and Qualification

  • Requires a University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience (when a University Degree is held).
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in security policies, network security, data security and security event management in relation to cloud adoption.
  • Ability to ensure the right level of detail is made available to multiple stakeholders ongoing and ability to track and report progress against governance requirements and project expectations.
  • Previous experience in deploying and operating services on a cloud framework.
  • Previous experience improving exiting processes and systems using significant conceptualising, reasoning, and interpretation in consideration of industry best practice.
