Position: Diploma Educator
Employment type: Part time- 18.75 hours per week. Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Award: VOTTEA award, Level 2.1 - $27.14 per hour
Fixed Term : Immediate start until December 20th 2024.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Diploma Educator with 1+ years of experience to join our vibrant team at Riverwalk Sessional Kindergarten. This position is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our 3-year-old group, which consists of 33 children.
About our service: Situated in the Riverwalk Primary School, Riverwalk Primary School Kindergarten celebrates the cultural and linguistic diversity of this vibrant community. Riverwalk promotes inclusive and collaborative engagement with local communities.
Responsibilities: As a Diploma Educator, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our 3-year-old group. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building Relationships: Demonstrate an ability to develop strong and positive relationships with both children and their families.
- Cultural Competence: Work effectively with people and families from diverse backgrounds, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere within the kindergarten.
- Team Collaboration: Exhibit the capability to work harmoniously in a team environment, fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere among colleagues.
- Child-Centric Approach: Provide warm and positive interactions with children, supporting their learning and development within the kindergarten environment.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Valid Victorian Working with Children Check
