Academia Australia (part of the Academia International Group), a multi award winning training institution is seeking to hire a Diploma of Community Services Trainer in a casual position (full time also available if preferred).
The successful candidate will be supported by our Compliance, Student Support and Student Welfare team allowing you to focus on training and assessing.
Applicant's mandatory requirements:
- Diploma of Community Services
- Current Cert IV in TAE
- A minimum of 3 years Aged Care industry experience (Current experience preferred with an existing Aged Care network)
- Good written and spoken skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computing skills
- Drivers License & working with children check/police check - must be clear from any charges / convictions
Preferred requirements (not mandatory)
- Certificate IV in Ageing Support
- Certificate III in Individual Support
The job role entails
- Class room tuition delivery and assessment
- Workplace assessment and mentoring
