We are a 55-place centre, with 3 rooms catering to children from 6 months – 5 years. We have an exciting custom-built adventure playground, and we are in the heart of Newcastle West at 291 King Street. 

Diploma Position - 2-3 years

You will work alongside our room leader and be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. You will work collaboratively with our whole team of educators to implement engaging educational programs that promote children's holistic development.

You will complete documentation for children's development and implement age-appropriate programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes children's learning and development.
• Develop and implement high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Collaborate with a team of educators to plan and assess children's progress effectively.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma qualification (or working towards).
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive work culture.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
